How Kids Sudoku Works

Kids Sudoku uses the same logic as regular Sudoku, but with smaller grids and easier rule sets. Mini Sudoku and Picture Sudoku both use a 4x4 board. Junior Sudoku uses a 6x6 board to help children move naturally toward the full 9x9 game.

  • Every row must use each value once.
  • Every column must use each value once.
  • Every box must use each value once.

Each kids puzzle also uses the same seed-based system as the main game, so every puzzle can be reopened with a clean Puzzle ID link.
