Sudoku by PuzzleFree Terms and Rules

These terms apply to the Sudoku by PuzzleFree mobile app and related app services. By using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.

Use of the App

The app is provided for personal entertainment, puzzle practice, and casual Sudoku play. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated methods in a way that harms the service.

Accounts

If account features are available, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity connected with your account. You can request account deletion at Delete Account.

Pricing and Purchases

In the current mobile app, Easy is always free. Medium, Hard, and Expert share one combined allowance of 10 free premium puzzles total across those three levels.

That means the free premium usage is counted together, not separately by difficulty. For example, 4 Medium puzzles, 3 Hard puzzles, and 3 Expert puzzles together exhaust the shared free premium limit.

After that shared limit is exhausted, Medium, Hard, and Expert require a one-time unlock priced at $1.99 in the Apple App Store or Google Play listing. Purchases are managed by the platform where you installed the app. See Pricing for more information.

Sudoku Gameplay Rules

Classic Sudoku is solved by filling the grid so that each row, each column, and each box contains every required value exactly once. The app may include different modes, difficulties, hints, notes, statistics, or variants, but each puzzle mode explains its own rules in the app.

Website Version

The browser version on Sudoku-Play.org remains free to play on the web. The mobile app’s premium puzzle limit and unlock logic do not change the free website version.

Children’s Sudoku Apps

Future children’s Sudoku apps will have their own pages and rules where needed, so child-focused app terms, privacy information, and pricing can stay separate from the main Sudoku app.

Intellectual Property

App design, branding, copy, artwork, and original code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Sudoku rules themselves are classic puzzle mechanics, while the app implementation and presentation remain protected.

Availability and Changes

The app is provided on an as-is basis. We may change, update, pause, or remove features as the app evolves. We may update these terms and post the updated version with a new effective date.
